Project E-QUAL is a truly collaborative and participatory project having various stakeholders transcending disciplinary boundaries. It is funded by the European Union and supported by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and Planning Commission, Government of India. The European Union has extended sponsorship under its programme “Support to Indo-European Interactions on Higher Education”. Administrative coordination is being provided by British Council India’s division on Internationalising Higher Education. The partner universities are Ambedkar University Delhi, University of Bologna, Italy, University of Hyderabad, Jadavpur University Kolkata, King’s College London, and Shiv Nadar University NCR, India. Jadavpur University is hosting the Central Communication Unit (CCU). The Vice-Chancellors of all the partner institutions are involved in the project as steering committee members and provide important inputs and insight. All the partner institutions have a faculty coordinator and several faculty members as part of the Core Team and Joint Working Groups. In addition to this, all partner universities have appointed a dedicated team of project personnel (Project Coordinator and Researcher/Technologist). As Jadavpur University is hosting the Central Communications Unit (CCU) of the project and is responsible for setting up the online platform and developing and maintaining the website and newsletter, it has the additional post of a full time project assistant. It has also designated a Joint Faculty Coordinator and Faculty Technical Advisor for smooth operationalisation. As the administrative coordinator of the project, British Council India has designated the positions of Coordinator, Senior Project Manager and Project Manager.
