Suresh Babu is Faculty Member, Project E-QUAL, Ambedkar University Delhi and Member of the Joint Working Group in Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Technologies. He is an Ecologist engaged in teaching and research at the School of Human Ecology at Ambedkar University. He joined SHE of Ambedkar University Delhi team in July, 2011. His Doctorate work was on the ecology and patterns of natural resource use of Great Nicobar Island, in the Andaman and Nicobar Archipelago. He has worked in the area of Ecological Restoration, Conservation Biology, Invasive Species, Ecological Networks and Ecological Economics. He has researched and taught at post-graduate level at the School of Environmental Studies, University of Delhi for eight years before moving to AUD. During this period he also worked as a Research Scientist with the Centre of Excellence Programme of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. He is an active member of professional societies in the area of Ecology, Ecological Restoration and Ecological Economics, and is a reviewer for several journals in these areas.
