Sritama Chatterjee is Research Assistant, Project E-QUAL. She completed her Bachelor’s and Masters Degree in English from Presidency University and Jadavpur University in 2014 and 2016, respectively. She is currently pursuing her M.Phil in English from Jadavpur University and intends to work on coolie narratives in South Asia. She won the Ecole Internationale Fellowship in 2015 and went to Université of Paris-Sorbonne as an exchange student from Jadavpur University. Her areas of interest are Environmental Humanities, Critical Theory and Postcolonial Studies. She has presented papers widely on these areas in national and international conferences at Université of Paris-Sorbonne, Jadavpur University, Presidency University and Vidyasagar University. Her work on environmental humanities has been published in peer-reviewed journals like Modern Research Studies. She takes a keen interest in debate and has won a number of National level Debate Competitions for her university. She was also a state-level swimmer and played Water-Polo extensively. In the future, she aspires to combine her aptitude for research and teaching with her interest in public policy.
