The E-QUAL-Jadavpur University team organized the undergraduate internship drive on 24 August 2015, a day long program that comprised of a comprehensive entrance test followed by an interview with the core project faculty members. The five selected interns represented three different departments ( History, English and Electrical Engineering) spread across two different faculties: Arts and Technology, of Jadavpur University. The interns have proved to be extremely hardworking, diligent and efficient in their work. They have contributed substantially to the project and have, in turn, gained professional experience and considerable exposure to the academic world. Even after the end of their official contract for a period of 5 months (September 2015-January 2016) they continue to be an integral part of the E-QUAL project team and have volunteered in the E-QUAL conferences organized by Jadavpur University. Some of them have contributed papers in other E-QUAL conferences. Also the interns prepared posters that were displayed during the E-QUAL-JU academic conference "Breaking Boundaries: Interdisciplinarity, E-Learning and Universities without Walls". They have also planned and conducted a comprehensive survey on online learning with a sample size of around 100 Jadavpur University students as respondents and are currently conceptualizing the second phase of the survey.
