Dr. Venusa Tinyi is Faculty Member, Project E-QUAL, University of Hyderabad. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy of the same institution. His main Areas of Specialization and interest are: Logic, philosophy of religion and moral philosophy. His Teaching Responsibilities in the university include: Principles of Reasoning (Undergraduate programme) and Formal & Informal Logic ( Postgraduate programme). He was previously the Faculty-in-Charge of the Weekly Seminar, Department of Philosophy in UoH (2010-2013). He has also been the Student Counselor in the Department of Philosophy. Dr Tinyi has jointly authored a book (along with Prof Paul Pimomo Central Washington University, Ellenburg, WA., USA and Dr. Eyingbeni, Clark Theological College, Aolijen, Mokokchung, Nagaland, India) titled Nagas: Essays for Responsible Change. He has also written a monograph titled as Politics of Naga Nationalism: State and the Politicians for Henry Martin Institute (International Centre for Research, Interfaith Relations and Reconciliation), Hyderabad, India (to be published this year – 2014).
